About the artist
Shradha is a protean artist born and brought up in the bustling neighborhoods of central Mumbai, where she began an early career in the textile industry t hat spanned for over 20 years under the guidance of her father. With diplomas in Textile and Fashion and a certification in Ornithology, she channels her lifelong passion for creativity through her childhood love for art, showcased by her exquisite pieces of refined paper art be it charcoal or paper cutting.
For her first exhibition in 2025 at the Bombay Art Society, Shradha drew inspiration from the rich heritage of traditional Indian hand-embroidered sarees & Indian Textiles combined with the intricate beauty of Sanjhi art, which has evolved her representation of art. Each piece in her collection showcases rarely seen, truly handmade thin-cut paper art, a testament to her meticulous skill and unique vision. Currently working on contemporary and modern artforms.
